Honiton needlemade grounds lappet scarf

A small lappet scarf of Honiton with an unusual needlemade ground. This is just a twisted cross wound with a small knot at the crossing point. This is also used as a filling in the small motifs along the edges. There are some woven tallies in the rose motif at the ends. This lappet scarf is a rare form among any of the Honiton variations.
